Taipei Trip: Day 1 & 2

Alright!!!
With a special request from a dear frenz....I'll try to describe my trip bit by bit, despite my tired body n lazy fingers. hehe....(Please excuse my lengthy boring blog, try to change my long-winded habits) my blog got nothing to write beside my work....

DAY 1 (Fri)
*********************
1 pm flight and guess what? I got a delayed flight when i reached Changi Airport at 10.30am! Ya, been raining night before but the rain had already stop in the morning. Budget airplanes cannot tahan strong wind & rain i guess. Juz because of the delay, got lots of time to waste on in sg instead of Taipei. Oh yes, the flight changed to 3pm. After meeting Step, we checked in our luggages & went to Tampines for a stroll...

The plane finally took off ard 3.30pm n landed CKS Airport 7.48pm. We quickly bought the GK Coach tickets to our hotel due to the delay. Frankly speaking, we got no idea where to alight though the leaflet stated our hotel train station! Okay, luckily we managed to get off at the right stop cos' the station indicated in the flyer did not tally with the actual bus stops lo!!! The flyer stated MingQuan station, in the end it's actually crossing road, down the streets then you will see the MingQuan station. =_="

After spenting time finding our hotel and unpack some stuff from luggage, we headed off to Shinlin Night market by 10.30pm. 1st thing is to join the long Q for the 豪大大鸡排!!! Slap me....i cannot finish the cutlet! Indeed the XXL size....and after drinking the pearl milk tea. I'm full to stuff other good food....Okay, slap me again.

The fri night was packed with crowds. Lots of youngster and most of them do sales in night market. I mean, the attitude of these youngster really differ from sg. They seem enjoy doing sales....i wouldnt say they like their job but at least i can see their effort n passion.

"欢迎光临,这些打七折,喜欢可以试穿哦!不买也可以看看哦!"

These were words commonly used across stores anywhere anytime. Maybe they dun mean it....but i'm happy to shop while hearing these.

Oh ya, down the street got a handful of 帅哥 and 美眉. The guys are tall, hairstyle nice and worth a second glance....unlike sg....okok, sg not that bad lah....tt's explain y i'm still single. Got a cute boy selling sunglasses actually speak in Japanese to us...haha, wanna ask where we from in English obviously made us even more blur.

After the night market, we walked a station down to Eslite bookstore but realised tt outlet was not 24 hr operated. In the end, went to Watson. Yes, their Watson usually come in two storeys....My frequent hangout places.

Step and XXL JiPai (i'm not cursing ok)

DAY 2 (Sat)
*********************

Wake up @ 9am. Went to hotel foc breakfast....Took the porridge. Alright, the bamboo shoot? and the melon?
haha....cant figure it out till now. Quite nice....

Went to 故宫. The largest museum for jade collection....ya, renovation. Luckily few areas still open and we managed to see the real tiny collections. Wonder how ancient pple can crave damn tiny stuff....and....making a pork meat look-alike stone!

Also went to Eslite Bookstore and meet-up a Taiwanese to buy spa voucher. When noon comes, we headed to Danshui for the sunset scenary. I like this place!! Windy, artistic air, relaxing, romantic....wat else.....the night market there oso quite happening =) Like 花枝串. It's kind of sotong ball, sometimes they sell sotong meat (huge one) all deep-fried and we DIY to brush pepper/chilli powder/wasabi powder for only SGD 1 buck!

Din get myself any self portrait there...wait for me to get slimmer first. Look like dumpling recently....

After Danshui, we rushed down to Miramar shopping mall. Our plan was to take the faerie wheel but it was damn packed. Juz took few shots and call it a day.

....... To be Cont'
