National Day Eve - Updates for the past month

One month w/o temp staff, still surviving, but struggling slowly.
Seem like getting the invoices done are tougher for me now. A day can be with so many emails, reports & assistance to my cols. They are so used to ask me whenever they met any problems...

Well but my effort seem to paid off....finally! Got my ever 1st promotion to next grading, meaning bigger increment & the bonus. Much better than my expectation la...=) Hope it doesn't mean heavier workload and burden.

Hmm, went to Batam w my cols two weeks ago. Hehe, our dept purposely went batam to 'escape' the compulsory bbq which we not keen to attend. it's juz the normal one day tour w tour guide. This is my 3rd time attending this batam one day tour though....but w cols is 1st time lah. Okay lo, maybe last time went Genting & BBQ so kinda used to each other company. Din buy much, tibits & more tibits.

Last friday is our D&D in expo. It was casual & fun...i perfer to have casual attire rather than dressing like a stranger. But i'm really blur & no luck into lucky draw. Well prepared myself w the letter and staff pass....i did not scan for the draw for registration. Cos' i heard my col telling me scan one will do...which i thought scan one of my cols card will do. In the end, they meant scan either pass or letter will do. Anyway....luckily my table got two winners. My RO won 2rd prize 42 " tv which we were so happy and excited for her. The food are nice and the atmosphere is good also since we were sitting first table facing the stage n nxt to CEO's table. haha....VIP treatment.

Coming Sun gg to attend Karina's wedding. Thanks god that it was a lunch wedding....she got married to Indian. I guess is white indian? Anyway, first time attending this kind of wedding...hope everything went well.

My other dept col getting married too & he invited me and some other project mates to merchant court wedding dinner ard Sep. Muz be beri exp... Hmm, i think this is also the first time invited by guy's wedding? My grp of friends are mostly female so feeling abit weird...haha, feel happy for him cos he is a gentle nice guy la...seem so much committed to relationship so i think the gal muz be blessed. When is my Mr Nice coming to fetch me? Oh yea....need to slim down or he will faint to see me in this stage rite....Arggghh....

Taiwan trip so far, only booked flight & Ayumi concert (yes, i'm gg to japan's concert!) and hor, luckily we haven booked hotel and know wat? Silk air email said they re-booked our flight & shorten our trip! So sian & we cancel for full refund cos not worth it. Booking flight tickets anywhere dun seeem worth it oso. In the end, we settled on Jetstar for more than 5oo bucks. (2X of my last taipei flight ticket price!!!!) Anyway, wanna holiday wat to do? Haven got time to meet up my frenz to discuss the taiwan trip & i think i'm gg to be kana cursed by all my frenz liaoz.....

Oh yea, last but not least....my taiwan trip changed to 1 Nov - 9 Nov 08. Meaning i can celeb my mum's BD and celeb mine as well!!! (U know wat to do rite??)
