24 hrs...

Do you ever experience your colleagues around you, or even someone sitting around you juz leave the company out of a sudden?

Nope....not leaving the world... juz the company. I meant, being fired. Let me know if there is a better term for this cos my English isn't getting any better thru the years.

Hmm, ever since i start working after my poly days, i could still rem the time where i'm still a temp staff & the person whom was quite close to me juz fired overnite. Yeah, overnite cos she is fired while doing OT and i din see her in the next morning. Reason being her health is no good at all. Still rem the feeling of shockness & sadness when i see the empty table.

My current company, also practise the same method. Discover this in this year...

A admin staff whom worked over ten years here got fired due to poor PA rating and maybe something more than tt....fired within 24 hrs. Ten yrs of planting time in this 2nd home and 24 hrs to remove all your stuff and emotions from this same old place.

October is a movement month cos all people ard me seem to "move"...my manager fired and he is lucky...a month notice. Though i dun see it a totally good news....you got a month to find job and you got a month to endure all the eyeing from all directions.

My two cols in front of me moved to another area cos they need two CS staff to sit around my area. After my mgr left, a fussy experienced women is sitting in....near me. I dun care anyway since i still do my job. I din get pay much anyway so not really make a big wooha on this new mgr.

Another col is leaving for better offer...she is maintaining the records of all my late workload, now she's gone....i'm sink deeper into the load of shits.

Oh....back to fired. Another senior position guy. He is cute, always bake brownies and cakes and share around. He is presentable to me so i doubt he is someone whom cannot work. Yet he is notified yesterday to pack his things by today. No one in our dept know abt this until he left today cos his dept din announce either to spread news for the handover.

I really din know this co practise this also.

Fired workers are normal but cant they give more time and not juz 24 hrs? I'm juz dun understand...i mean this treatment shld given for pple that are terrible worker / bad attitude.

So i shld consider myself lucky i'm still managed to survive here for 2 years?

Or should i not plant too much time, youth and energy in this 2nd home....cos who know someday i might juz given 24 hrs notice to surrender all my emotions and efforts to this 2nd home? My heart feel a pinch of sadness today. Towards all the changes around me? Towards the colleagues whom are leaving around me? Or towards myself?

Not sure.

Someday i'm might leave the co quietly without anyone realising it also....cos the company do it quietly too...
